Respect for nature and wine
The winery's philosophy is based on low intervention in both the vineyard and the winemaking. Cultivation is carried out with gentle practices, without excessive fertilization and irrigation, allowing the vines' root system to naturally seek water and nutrients at a greater depth.
Native yeasts are used during winemaking, while most wines are not stabilized or filtered, in order to maintain their authentic character and honestly express the terroir of Nemea.
From Nemea to the world
The wines of the Aivalis family have won their place in both the Greek and international markets, traveling to many countries and representing modern Greek winemaking.
Labels such as Le Sang de la Pierre, Deux Dieux, Armakas and Tessera Ave Atque Vale are typical examples of the constant search for quality, authenticity and aging potential, proving that Agiorgitiko can stand on an equal footing with the world's leading red varieties.
A new generation, the same vision
Today, the new generation continues the family's work with the same dedication. Sotiris Aivalis, having acquired valuable knowledge and experience from Burgundy, actively contributes to the development of the winery, combining respect for tradition with a modern winemaking approach.
With a common point of love for the vineyard and the land of Nemea, father and son continue to create wines that capture the place, time and philosophy of the Aivalis family.
